We are delighted to see the GAP Festival back in the village this June.
We are open our usual hours during the festival:
- Tuesday 14th – Saturday 18th 8am -5pm
- Friday 17th evening 6pm – 11pm
And for the Festival weekend we are also open on Sunday 19th 9am – 4pm

At Pierreponts we’re open on a Friday night from 6pm for supper and fine wine.
On Friday evening’s we serve a variety of seasonal dishes:
- Antipasti sharing platters
- Meat / game
- Seafood specials
- Seasonal salads
Booking is recommended, as we do fill up and occasionally have private bookings of the whole venue.
Also, if you’re in town for the Goring Jazz nights or Goring Unplugged in the village hall, then why not book a table for a pre-Goring Jazz dinner?
Typically run on the 2nd Friday of the month, the organisers of the Goring Jazz nights book some great acts. Full details of the upcoming shows can be found here:

Whether you’re after a full English, kippers or simply boiled egg and soldiers, at Pierreponts we’re renowned for the quality of our breakfasts.
If you’re after something more indulgent then our French toast with maple sauce and bananas could be for you. Or if it’s grains you want then our porridge or granola may be more up your street. Our smoothies and fresh juices prove ever popular as is does our lovingly prepared coffee.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 11:30am.
Brunch? 2nd breakfast? early lunch? Whatever you like to call it Pierreponts is a great stop off for that mid-morning fill-up. Popular with cyclists, walkers, day-trippers and locals alike brunch at Pierreponts includes all your favourites.
Griddled bacon or sausage and onion sandwiches with thick slices of fresh bread or rolls; salmon and scrambled egg; hot chocolate, cold shakes or fresh coffee.
Whatever the occasion brunch at Pierreponts will fit the bill.
Our lunch menu includes some of our classic dishes: rarebit, mushrooms on toast, salmon and avocado on toast and of course, spinach pancake.
A choice of sandwiches and spectacular freshly stuffed rolls is complimented by a choice of soups and a tart of the day with selection of salads.
Our specials board offers a selection of hot and cold seasonal dishes with a variety of fish, game and vegetarian options.
Pierreponts is a great place for a spot of afternoon tea. We serve tasty cakes, many varieties of leaf tea and scones with jam and cream along with a range of delicious snacks from the bar.
We also serve a traditional set afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, scones, and cake on lovely vintage crockery.
