Pierreponts is a group of cafés in Oxfordshire sited in Goring-on-Thames, Sonning Common, Henley and at Milton Park, near Didcot serving fresh and locally sourced breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea.

We love great quality food and creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where wonderful food is served by a happy, knowledgeable team.

We create a high quality selection of substantial, flavoursome dishes and bring our passion for fresh produce to every part of our menu, helping to build Pierreponts' reputation as one of the best places to eat in and around Reading and Oxford.

Opening hours: Eat-in and take-away : Tuesday to Sunday 8:30am - 4pm.

We are closing at 2pm on New Years Eve and will be closed on New Years Day.

We are open 09:30 - 12:00 on New Years Eve; closed on New Years Day; open 09:00 - 11:00 on the 2nd and then back to normal.

Our food

All our food is prepared on site by our chefs. We source all our ingredients from high quality, local (where possible) producers.

We are currently serving tart and salad, baguettes, bacon / sausage sandwiches, snacks, sweet treats, hot and cold drinks.

Sustainability

Running a sustainable service lies at the heart of what we do. Locality is key here; all of our ingredients are fresh and everything is sourced from as nearby as possible. Meats like our sausages and bacon come from the award-winning Vicars Game who only offer the highest quality produce. Fish is also brought in on a daily basis and when in season a local grower provides fruit and vegetables like baby chard and heritage tomatoes.

This ethos extends further than the food we serve, as we offer space for local designers and makers to sell pottery, handmade jewellery and all manner of gift items. We also participate in the village’s food festival as well as their arts and music festival, which happen on alternate years. We also make sure we’re on hand to provide a much needed energy boost in the form of flapjacks at the finish line of the Goring 10K, helping to raise significant funds for the local primary school.

Private parties

Pierreponts is available to hire for private evening parties, celebration weekend lunch parties or high tea. We cater for school parent group get-togethers, family birthdays, weddings, Christenings and just about any celebration you can imagine.

We are happy to provide food for any of your private functions or dinner parties held at your home or another venue.

We offer an extensive choice of food that will travel well - including our famous tarts, salads, sandwiches, cakes, and sweet treats.
